How I Discovered It:
I am a swimmer. I love the pool and I love to swim. Before the pandemic hit, I was swimming 50-60 laps four times a week. When the pool at the fitness center closed, I immediately started looking for something that is comparable to getting a full body workout like swimming provides. So, I did what I always do, I asked the Universe what I could do. The answer came swiftly…. rebounding. Rebounding?! What is rebounding? Rebounding is a unique form of exercise done on a mini trampoline where a weightless state is achieved at the peak of each jump and landing. This shift in gravity benefits every muscle and cell of the body simultaneously, so you truly get a total body workout.
What Makes It BTE Worthy:
- A total body workout you can complete in as little as 10 minutes a day
- Rebounding is easy to learn and do, and it’s gentle on your joints
- Improves coordination, balance, and posture
- Rebounding promotes weight loss and keeping fit
- Increases lymphatic flow to rid the body of toxins, waste, and other unwanted stuff
- NASA uses rebounding in training, reconditioning, and the recovery of astronauts
- Improves digestion and elimination
- Increases oxygen circulation and breathing capacity
- Exercises the entire body without putting excess pressure on feet, legs, knees, and ankles
- Reduces body fat and improves muscle to fat ratio
- Provides a low impact cardio exercise which strengthens the heart and improves the entire cardiovascular system
- Builds muscle strength and endurance
- Very versatile: it can be relaxing, relieving anxiety and stress or it can be energizing and intense, either way you are in complete control
- Rebounding is better for the body than running because of the increased oxygen consumption and the trampoline surface absorbs the impact, not your joints and shins. A 20-minute intense workout is like running for an hour.
Why I Love them:
I love the rebounder because it provides an effective total body workout including deep into all the muscles and all the 75 trillion cells of the body in 20 minutes a day. It’s safe, fun, energizing, relaxing, and healthy activity. In short, rebounding improves the mechanics of every system in the body simultaneously, with one 20-minute workout a day: nervous, digestive, circulatory, endocrine, musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, etc.
I've been a fan:
